Grace & Jeremy: A Whimsical White Wedding

Grace and Jeremy had a whimsical white wedding up at Wanaka Haven earlier this year. Rather than choosing autumnal tones or classic white arrangements, the couple opted for timeless and modern with a dash of whimsical!

These beautiful Cosmos, Delphinium and Babies Breath adorned the classic Roses to create a modern assortment of white wedding blooms. Grace opted for single variety blooms for her bridesmaids and a mix of those varieties for her own bridal bouquet. We love this recent floral trend as it really makes the bouquets pop and gives each carefully selected flower its own chance to bloom.

Grace's big day was a beautiful combination of chic and timeless, from the floating sleeves on her first dress, to the outfit change in the evening; iconic!

We chatted to Grace about why she chose to get married in Central Otago, and her answer, much like other brides, pointed out that Wanaka makes the perfect destination wedding; "We chose Wanaka because we had so many people that would have to travel for our wedding that we wanted it to be like a holiday for everyone. Then when we found the Wanaka haven we knew this was the place!"

We know as well as other vendors, that the people you work with on your big day make a huge difference to how you feel. That's why it's so important to us that we involve our brides and grooms in every step of the creation process, making mood boards and sharing visions.

We asked Grace who her vendors were and if there was a stand-out vendor, to which she replied; "Ohh it’s so hard to pick a stand out vendor! They were all so Amazing!"

"But Jeremy’s suit was stunning and such a wonderful experience with getting it made with working style. Karl Clausen helped Jeremy with his suit and with all the groomsmen. "

"It’s impossible to pick a standout vendor as they were all so amazing and made the day so easy for us. We loved being about to send the day with the people that meant the most to us."
